1. i dont think i need to review every single one, i think they are fine and personally drove a R35 once so im heavily biased towards it, great looking and sounding car, i obviously also like all the older ones, however i think that the r34 doesnt look very good in stock and i DESPISE the people that buy them just to put on fake z-tune parts and nothing else, there is such a wide variety of kits for those cars and everyone seems to always choose the most boring option there is 2. i dont care for military games, but i do enjoy ace combat for how ridiculously over the top it is, they also have a very nice selection of super futuristic planes and i love that sorta stuff so yeah id say its a good series 3. the old one from the 90s - early 2010s was good, have not bothered to watch anything past that, heard its bad 4. anything made by tesla, tesla is one of the worst companies known to man, also the rebodied bmw z4 that only became popular becouse toyota decided to use a famous name on it, cant stand that car and its fans 5. yes 6. stage 4 cancer is too polite to describe it

1. by that i meant TC2, the original the crew (pre wild run that is) is not a bad game, and ubisoft is one of the all time worst gaming companies there is so im not suprised, im just waiting for the day people get the original version of tc1 to work offline and then ill have a fun time with it again 2. i ignore memes like the plague, i dont use social media or interact with the kind of people that find that stuff funny, i am extreamly out of touch with anything popular or mainstream in general and dont recognize most """"jokes"""" people make online, youd be suprised how much better life seems when you ignore social media entirely

forza was always a olbigatory console exclusive ripping off other successfull games like gran turismo and TDU2 with the least amount of effort required ever since its inception, comparing anything to forza is like comparing chinese knockoff cars to actual cars, the argument is dead in the water the moment you consider forza an original series anyway, tdu sc is fine, the handling is fun and the map is nice, they seem to have all cars from tdu2 back using their old models which is nice, and there are some unexpected versions of cars in there (theres a 74 lp400 countach for example), but the focus on online completely kills the game, if they dont come out with an offline mode they lost me and thats that, if they add an offline mode then yeah its a decent enough game, i was able to reach max level and buy every car i wanted without doing a single race which is very good and very much in the spirit of TDU, and it wouldve kept that spirit if it wasnt for the fact that they limit the amount of payouts you can get from FRIM and add these obnoxious badly written teens that clearly shouldnt be part of tdu, but every modern game has the worst writing ever so that was to be expected its way better than forza but thats like saying that a mercedes sedan is better than a yugo i consider forza to be the single worst racing franchise there is and i dont see that ever changing

gt1 - amazing game, super fun to play, by far has the best camera and sense of speed in the whole series, also has a much superior audio style (menu sounds, menu songs, in game music is generally much more memorable to me than any other game in the series) it was also the only time polyphony knew the importance of having good FOV while driving, the handling also feels very nice, but gt1 has a strange suspension model that makes your car bounce like its on hydros sometimes gt2 - still great, setting the camera to "far" gives you a good FOV, not as good as the originals but still feels nice, has by far the most interesting car list in the series and my favorite feature aka racing modifications for most cars in the game (the silly shit like having a intrepid with a blower, or a nascar converted ford taurus is especially fun) probably the one i enjoyed the most, also my favorite handling in the series, however the in game music sucks ass and i always turn it off and play my own stuff, completely forgettable and not fitting for racing gt3 - by far the best soundtrack and visual presentation in the series, easily has the coolest menus and generally the best vibe, however the FOV is terrible and destroys any sense of speed, which SEVERELY decreases the amount of fun i can have with it, since if i cant tell how fast the car is going i cannot judge my speed correctly for any corner, i absolutely require mods to be able to drive properly, but apart from that the handling still feels very nice, altho the career mode gets ridiculously stale and boring once every single event for some reason gets 10 laps (10 laps in a yaris only race is not fun no matter who you are), i usually stop playing not even midway through, the lack of racing modifications also severly limits my interest in owning cars, since i really dont care for stock skylines and plain cars, but the various made up "lm spec" cars are very cool and deffinetly the most fun to drive gt4 - downgrade to gt3 in almost every aspect other than car list, the only gt game where the handling straightup feels bad, cars are twitchy, countersteering is impossible, it generally just feels bad to drive car list is great, the huge amount of cool concept cars is fantastic, and the inclusion of more classic cars is also very appreciated, but the career mode is increadibly stupid and way too limiting (you cant use concept cars in events where you race against concept cars, wtf were they thinking) also locking some cars behind 24 REAL LIFE HOUR LONG RACES is the stupidest thing imaginable, who the fuck has the time for that??? soundtrack has some good songs, but sadly most of it is drowned out by very forgettable songs by far the worst part about the game is the camera, low fov and painfully stiff, you dont feel any kind of speed whatsoever and the lack of any kind of sway makes it feel cheap and generally dizzying, you can use the hidden menu to increase the fov which greatly improves the game but the stiffness of the camera is just too bad to ignore, and it only gets worse from here gtpsp - the FOV is so painfully low playing the game makes me feel sick, so i dont play it gt5 - the most puzzling racing game i have ever played, the amount of stupid decissions in this game confuses the shit out of me every time i play, why do i have to BUY ENTIRE CARS to obtain SINGLE USE COLORS???? why are some cars locked behind B-SPEC ONLY CAREER MODE???? why is 90% of the car list IN A RNG USED CAR SHOP???? i despise RNG preventing me from buying the cars i want, and gt5 is the 2nd worst example of that, i straightup cannot play the vanilla game becouse too many things about it piss me off, there is however a modded version that lets you buy any car at any time amongs MANY other fixes, which works decently well on RPCS3, so thats the one i primarely played and thats how im going to judge the rest of the game from this point on if you stick speciffically to HD cars, the new features on said cars are great, having visual body parts on many of them is a fantastic addition, even if they are mostly just minor things, having the ability to visually modify your car in any way is better than having a few generic wings that look ugly on any car you put them on (like in gt4), however why in the fuck are the rims limited to like 5 choices per car??? why not just make every rim available for every car??? the economy is also a complete joke and i used an infinate money cheat to play the game, the upgrades are way too expensive and having cars that cost as much as the fucking money limit is beyond stupid as for the handling, its once again very good handling completely obliterated by the horrible camera, the FOV is sickeningly low, there is no sense of speed in the slightest, and its once again completely stiff, it completely ruins the driving experience and i have no idea how they seriously thought this camera should be the gold standard in gt, its horrible and completely ruins the gameplay the soundtrack is fine, there are some good songs and some really bad ones, its nothing too memorable gt5 also introduced my most hated "feature" in this series, the audio getting biased depending on your exhaust placement, i am increadibly stingy when it comes to audio balance and having the engine sound of my car being biased to 1 side drives me insane and pretty much any car that doesnt have dual rear exhausts is unusable becouse of that, if there was any way to get rid of this "feature" and make the camera sane maybe id give the game another try, but with these "features" i deem the game unplayable honestly gt6 - doesnt work on emulators, no way to play it gts - same as above gt7 - by far the worst game in the series but you dont need me to tell you this, refeer to roflwaffles videos, he explains it better than i ever could all i will add is that LIMITING EVERY CAR OLDER THAN 2003 TO A RNG STORE THAT UPDATES IN REAL LIFE DAYS IS THE STUPIDEST IDEA IN RACING GAME HISTORY

i could write you an entire book about how fucked forza as a franchise is but ill give you the short version forza started as a cheap passion-less series made to sell the xbox, which didnt have a counterpart to gran turismo, it blatantly copied things from gt with the most minimal amount of effort since the very first game in 2005, and steadily declined in quality ever since, the whole series in its entirety is made purely to sell consoles and nothing else, and ive played all the games that are currently functional on pc through emulation aswell as horizon 1 - 5, the horizon spin off series was clearly a blatant attempt to copy test drive unlimited 2, granted it was far more creative and a far better experience than the motorsport series in its entirety, but it still majorly falls flat due to the godawfull physics engine forza uses, which makes your car roll over on any bump and does not know how tires function, not to mention the horrible decission to lock your camera fov to BELOW 60 degrees (if i recall forza used something like 45), which completely destroys any depth perception and sense of speed, further making the handling worse the theme of horizon 1 and the general atmosphere of the game was very good, since it was the only game in the series to have its own style, so the creative team that worked on 1 2 and 3 clearly had some kind of vision for the series (they even had inputs from real DJs and festival runners for 1 and 2), but they all left the company starting from 4 and pretty much anyone who did anything remotely good has already left by current day most of forza is also outsourced to random companies since the devs dont give a shit about it, so you get the worst looking car models in gaming history introduced in forza 1 - 4, and then they keep using them 20 years later becosue nobody will notice right???? and the best part too? forza horizon 2 ON THE XBOX 360 has the best handling in the series, which was made by sumo interactive, not by the main forza developers, and they single handedly managed to make the tires feel like they are actually gripping the road, so the developers either want the games to feel terrible or simply dont give a shit and the current day developers of this series are the most corrupt pieces of shit you can meet in the racing game industry, even worse than whoever runs NFS these days somehow (watch Sepi (SP4) for more context about this, its a whole lot of really bad stuff) tldr: forza has always been a series made with 0 passion or care, it is only there to sell consoles becouse playstation had gt, and to this day still is a blatant cashgrab with barely any passion put into it, and the developers couldnt care less

I hate Forza community and how it glorifies every game that drops, even tho there is less and less effort put into it with every next game. I totally agree tho. FH1 for me was a great game. FH2 on Xbox 360 is probably most screwed over one, they made great physics, but the port was so butchered in almost every way, especially in the amount of content, races, and activities, to the point it there is hardly any reason to play, other than using the fast travel momey glitch to get infinite cash. I got 100% in less than 10 hours, while even in FH1 it took me more than 40 hours. FH3 was a cool experience too for me, altho that is where the tires were ruined in order to give AWD swapped cars advantage over RWD ones. And in addition they have added engine swaps outside of the car brand, which is absolutely horrible. In FH1 and 2 you always had swaps such ad VR38 for Skylines and the S85 V10 for BMWs, while in FH3 and onwards, almost every car had the same trio, LS3, Viper V10, and Lambo V12, which completely ruined the point of swaps, where you butcher the cars by putting off brand engine into them.

not like it mattered anyway since at that point there was no progression anymore, you start the game in a S1 class car and never have to switch if you dont feel like it becouse what is progression

i spend a lot of my time nowadays drawing designs for kits and cars and the like, and im basically a living encyclopedia of early 2000s car knowledge so id say im doing more car stuff than ever

I am looking forward to my first ever project car that I was dreaming about doing since I was a kid and I can't wait ti start, the only issue is the money, but I'll get it done. I love the 2000s car scene and 90s-2000s motorsport and love to learn, read and watch about it, especially the touring cars and GTs. I grew up on those old racing games and movies and I've been to racing events since I was a baby literally, dad used to take me. I love that stuff literally since the womb hahahah

yoshidas car is a pretty iconic piece of history, but it sadly hasnt seen any action in years now, its being wasted away in some collectors garage which is a really big shame, wouldve been great to see it evolve similarly to the abflug 930, the pink spider rx7 or the anubis rx7, all of which are from the same time period and are still being used and enjoyed, and in the case of abflugs 930, still being pushed to new levels of insanity
